Creativity, Caution and Sleepless Nights

There’s nothing better than writing for relaxation, although once the words are secured on the pages for a book, the agonising begins.  Checking my punctuation and spelling, correcting overuse of some words or phrases and final proofreading all disrupt my self-confidence!  Yes, it’s fair to say that my books are a culmination of creativity, caution and sleepless nights.  But then the magic happens and the compliments roll in.

I’m pleased that people from my network and beyond found How to Be the Best Candidate Every Single Time worth buying.  I’ve had lots of positive feedback, although so far I’ve only managed a single review on Amazon.  The photos of your pets and children reading the book have been fun to see, not to mention how the book holds up against all the others on your bookshelves – thank you.

This morning I had an email from a friend explaining that she has an interview tomorrow, the first for 25 years, and was keen to get hold of my books.  It prompted this update.  You can buy How to Be the Best Candidate Every Single Time right now from Amazon or order it from all good bookshops (delivery is about two weeks).

If you’re one of the readers who’ve enjoyed what I have to say please remember to leave me an Amazon review, they really help to get the word out to all the people who don’t know me so well.  And when I sell more books, I can invest in more writing!  Please help me to spread the word.

The publication of Interviews Sorted, You’ve Got This is imminent.  Timing is everything and I didn’t want to go too early in January while you were all still wondering what to do with the Turkey curry.  I hope that you continue to enjoy my books and please feel able to contact me with fresh ideas about how I can help you land that ideal role.  Let’s chat.
